College Farm

The College farm is 4,063 hectares, of which 2,516 hectares are arable and support a range of standard and alternative farming enterprises.

On the farm students acquire skills from instructors who have a wide range of applicable practical experience. The program enables students to meet the requirements of Level II and III Certificates within the National  Training Package, which is based on competency assessment.

Students can achieve:

  • AHC20116: Certificate II Agriculture
  • AHC30116: Certificate III Agriculture
  • AHC30416: Certificate III in Pork Production
  • AHC21416: Certificate II in Wool Handling
  • AHC21316: Certificate II in Shearing

AHC20116: Certificate II Agriculture

All students coming to Cunderdin get the opportunity to complete the Certificate II Agriculture qualification which is an entry level into the exciting world of farming.

AHC30116: Certificate III Agriculture & AHC30416 Certificate III in Pork Production

These Certificate III Agriculture qualifications were introduced to provide a higher level learning experience and challenge those students who have come from strong farming backgrounds.

AHC21416: Certificate II in Wool Handling & AHC20316: Certificate II in Shearing

The WA College of Agriculture – Cunderdin  in partnership with an external training provider makes sure that our students are getting the best training and coaching in regards to great shearing technique and wool handling processes. Students may also have the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Wool Clip Preparation (AHC33016) through TAFE.
