Year 11 Induction

Year 11 Induction

Our new Year 11 students have had a busy start to the school year with plenty of activities to help them adjust to life at an Agricultural College. 74 nervous students and their parents arrived on the weekend before school commenced for an induction to help make their transition easier. On Saturday the students unpacked into dormitories and collected their laptops, timetables and uniforms, before farewelling their parents and settling in a for a BBQ dinner and a movie. A visit to the Cunderdin pool on Sunday along with team building games at the College helped students get to know each other.

The students were kept busy during Week 1 with Class, Farm and Trades inductions and a visit to Adventure World.

Our Year 12 student councillors did a great job helping out during induction and sharing their experience with the new cohort.

New Staff – The College would like to welcome several new staff this year: Trades – Mr Rob den Boer, Mr Terry Gosling, Class – Mr Rob Cousins, Miss Georgia Sharpe, Residential: Mr Martin Foster, Mr Jordan Lee.
