Our Design and Technology complex has large well-resourced workshops that cater for Automotive Mechanics, Engineering, Furniture Woodwork and General Construction.
The workshops mirror industry standards and students can tackle challenging projects including constructing tandem axle tipping trailers, bearing presses, restoring vehicles, panel beating, making large pieces of furniture, brick laying projects and building sheds around the College property.
Students undertaking Engineering in both Year 11 and 12 have the opportunity to complete a Certificate II in Engineering MEM20105 from the Manufacturing Engineering Training Package MEM05.
Students studying Automotive Workshop in both Year 11 and 12 achieve a Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology AUR20512 from the Automotive Industry Training Package AUR12.
Taking on General Construction in both Year 11 and 12, will result in Certificate II in Construction Pathways CPC202511 from the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package CPC08.
Students undertaking Furnishing Design in both Year 11 and 12 have the opportunity to be awarded a Certificate I in Furnishing MSF10113 from the Light Manufacturing – Furnishing Training Package MSF02V5.
