Student applications into courses at Cunderdin Ag College usually exceed available places. Acceptance into the College is based on school performance and an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal.

This is what happens in the 18 months prior to entry …

  • The student’s application is received by the College (you can enrol your child at any time up to the year before starting - don’t leave it too late though!).
  • The College will phone to arrange an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal. Applicants need to bring their last two school reports, NAPLAN and MSE Test results, and any work experience reports and supporting references or other documentation.
  • A confidential report is obtained from the applicant’s current school.
  • The applicant and parents attend an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal.
  • A full tour of facilities is provided following the interview.

Student selection is based on the following …

  • Performance at the interview demonstrating a desire for entry to the College.
  • A positive confidential report received from the applicant’s current school.
  • The applicant and parents attend an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal.
  • Positive school reports indicating:
    • Application to studies
    • Satisfactory classroom behaviour
    • Positive attitude/work ethic
    • Sound performance
